I’m also interested in a .NETCF way to access DirectShow Camera! I’m developing a barcode-reading application and a (high resolution) live capture will make the application more user-friendly! Hi,
In regard to the interest of a custom control that can be used within a .NET CF application, I think it would be very useful. As the applications we develop have very little, if any, UI interaction with the OS it would be very useful to be able to control the camera from within our application.

thank you very much for your comprehensive answer. I already visited some of the links earlier. I assume, I have to leave my “Managed Code comfort zone” and will dive into C++ programming.
