HI, Is there a way of adding an shortcut of application launch icon on the Today screen through coding or through the options available in the smart device cab project ?

Hello,

I am an extreamly new user of Windows Mobile 6.1. I would like to have a shortcut (icon ) on the Today Screen that would go directly to “write new sms” . Is there a way to do that? If you could bother to answer me by mail, it would be great.

Hai Christopher Fairbairn,

I am using your
ChrisTec.WindowsMobile.TodayScreen.dll
ChrisTec.WindowsMobile.TodayScreen-Framework.CAB and your sample project
AnotherTodayScreenItem.
In this sample project i had done some changes like:
i added one usercontrol in that one image and some text in the same row.
(same as inbuilt todayscreenitem.)

but while resizing the font size it is not aligning properly,
and one more thing i am not able to set system background color to my todayscreenitem onClick on item.
could you please help in this regard,
this my second request to you.

I am using VS 2008 ,Smart Device Project and Windows Mobile 6.1.

Please help me to sove this problem.

I had created a Today Screen ITem using your Sample Application funcationality is working fine, but the problem is i am not able to set
system background color to a perticulat todayscreenitem Onselect or OnClick.

Could you please Help me…
