Yeah, they seem to be shooting themselves in the foot with the app store. I thought about putting one of my freeware programs on there, but not if I have to pay $99!

From what I’ve seen Microsoft seems to be responsive to developers and complaints that have been made about the Marketplace (ultimatly resulting in adjustments to the Marketplace documentation). Perhaps you should post this in the Marketplace forum. In a worst case scenario it could be ignoreed but in the best case scenario it could result in a change to the Marketplace rules
